JAZAN — A mother and four of her children were killed in a fire that broke out in their house, north of Jazan. The blaze, which started when an air conditioning unit caught on fire, quickly spread to the rest of the house. Firefighters from the Civil Defense rushed to the scene of the fire but were only able to save one child from the burning home. All five bodies were recovered and transferred to a hospital morgue. Civil Defense is still investigating the cause of the accident.
