MANILA — Philippine officials say divers have recovered the pilot's body from the plane that crashed in the sea over the weekend and killed the country's Interior Secretary. Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin said Wednesday the pilot was found strapped to his seat inside the mangled wreckage of the chartered Piper Seneca light plane. The body of Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo had been recovered Tuesday from the wreckage about 60 meters (200 feet) underwater off central Masbate province. A Nepali student co-pilot is still missing. The plane suffered engine trouble and crashed while attempting an emergency landing at the Masbate airport. Robredo's aide survived. — AP
