TAIF – Taif Civil Defense teams rescued five people who were stuck in floods that swept through a valley in Taif, said Col. Khalid Al-Qahtani, spokesman for Taif Civil Defense. Cranes were used to lift the trapped persons and bring them to safety. Col Al-Qahtani called upon the general public to avoiding going to the base of valleys because they are most prone to be hit by floods.
