Mishal Al-Otaibi Saudi Gazette RIYADH – A private hospital in Riyadh refused to admit or treat a Saudi man who was brought in with multiple stab wounds. The victim, who had been rushed to the private hospital in east Riyadh by a Red Crescent ambulance, was asked to pay a SR300 fee upfront and wait until a file could be opened for him. Saad Al-Eneizi, the victim's brother, said he contacted the Ministry of Health and the on-duty director tried to persuade the hospital to admit his brother. When his efforts failed, he asked Al-Eneizi to take the victim to the government-run Al-Iman General Hospital and fax him the details of the incident so action could be taken against the private hospital.
