Equality for all is an integral component of their education process. “We believe in equality of all the special stars in the world," the school officials said. Children are guided by creativity, compassion and motivation as they strive to make a world of difference in their lives. So, on August 15, Jeddah Grammar School will organize an arts and crafts exhibition, where art projects of mentally-challenged children will be exhibited. Faiza Ali, director of Jeddah Grammar School, said, “Kids with special needs require a different approach for exploring arts. The school educators have created projects keeping in mind every child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) so that the lessons engage all children at different levels. “Arts and crafts ranging from painting and sculpting to making pi?atas create an expressive outlet for special education students. Whether the special needs classify as visual, intellectual or physical impairments, all arts and crafts projects teach new skills and reinforce learned concepts."
