Epson's WorkForce Pro models slash energy consumption 80%
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 11 - 07 - 2012

EPSON has launched in Saudi Arabia the WP-4095 DN and WP-4595 DNF, two new models under the WorkForce Pro range of color laser printers. The latest additions have been designed specifically to offer cost and energy efficiency, high quality output and durability across the Kingdom's enterprise workgroups as well as small and medium-sized businesses.
Epson said businesses in Saudi Arabia will highly benefit from lower ink costs with a choice of high-yield cartridges providing up to 3,400 pages each2, with a print resolution of 4800x1200dpi. This gives users the advantage of top quality prints that are water, smudge, highlighter and fade resistant as they dry instantly thanks to Epson DuraBrite Ultra ink. The WP-4095 DN and WP-4595 DNF are network ready, which translates to easy sharing among workgroup PCs. The units also offer PDL support like PCL6, PCL5c and genuine Adobe PostScript 3 emulations. Both models come with Epson Connect3, which will allow users to connect their smartphones and tablets to meet their mobile printing needs.
The two models are being positioned as strategic solutions for the growing demands of local workgroups for a fully reliable and high performance color laser printer. Both the WP-4095 DN and WP-4595 DNF offer the emulations that today's IT managers expect, along with performance, great reliability and up to 50 per cent lower cost per page than other laser printers in the market. The latest additions offer a genuine alternative to laser products and provide further cost savings due to a super-fast automatic double-sided printing function, reducing paper usage.
Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said "the WP-4095 DN and WP-4595 DNF showcases the best of both worlds--durability and performance combined with economy and ecology. These devices can help achieve a massive 80 percent reduction4 in energy consumption as compared to other competitive lasers with a universal print driver and a range of emulations, providing both efficiency and environmental benefits. The advantages to be gained from using these printers demonstrate our assurance that with any of our WorkForce Pro range models, businesses in KSA will no longer have to compromise on reliability, performance and cost efficiency." – SG
