RIYADH – The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) is completing registration of applicants for the National Program for Assistance for Jobseekers (Hafiz) who have Saudi mothers and non-Saudi fathers. The move follows a Cabinet decision. Early this week, passwords were sent by text messages to applicants who had completed preliminary registration to log on to the program's website http://www.hafiz.gov.sa and fill electronic registration forms. The applicants will have to enter their bio-data, income and the IBAN account number to receive payments. Sultan Al-Surayi', HRDF spokesman, said some 8000 male and female children of Saudi women married to foreign men had filled in the preliminary registration forms. He said the program would verify the data within three months from the date of application. If the data meet the conditions for assistance, they will be paid the allowance for one Hijri year similar to the other applicants in the program. – SG/SPA
