Hala Academy Blue raced to 154 in 103 balls with 6 wickets in hand. Saim Sherwani hammered 47 in 29 balls, Malik Usman 44 and Shahbaz 37. China Southern Airlines chose to bat first and posted 179-7 through Abdullah 45 in 27 balls, Mohammed Asim 33, Fahim 31and Fahad 24. Asif took 3-32 and Mohammed 2-23. AMI Juffali was comfortably home with 6 balls to spare by making 180-7 through Shaboor 46 in 33 balls and Mohammed 41 off 18 balls. Later Asif stroked 24 to get his team though to the semis. QRCC, in reply, was home on the last ball, thanks to a cameo innings in the hot noon by Zahid, who hammered an unbeaten 92 in 49 balls with 11 hits to the fence and 3 sixes.
