New varsity presidents appointed

RIYADH — King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, issued orders Sunday appointing Dr. Badran Al-Omar and Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood as new presidents of King Saud University (KSU) and King Khalid University (KKU) respectively.Dr. Al-Omar replaces Dr. Abdullah Al-Othman as president of KSU while Dr. Al-Dawood takes over from Dr. Abdullah Al-Rashed as the new KKU president. Concerned authorities have been directed to carry out the orders with immediate effect. — SG/SPA
