Thief dies while attempting to rob warehouse

JEDDAH – A thief attempting to rob a commercial warehouse in South Jeddah was electrocuted to death. The thief, said to be an Arab expatriate in his 30s, accidentally stepped on an exposed electric cable.
The man's 19-year-old brother was with him during the attempted robbery and had no choice but to shout for help. Police and paramedics rushed to the location and transported the thief to a nearby hospital but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The younger brother is being held for questioning. - SG
