A 25-year-old Bahraini woman died after being electrocuted while cleaning her sister's carpet. The woman was cleaning the carpet using an electrical device when her foot touched a water pump. Lt. Col. Mansoor Al-Dowsari, Eastern Province Civil Defense Spokesman said the woman was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead after several attempts to resuscitate her failed.
