RIYADH — Three Saudi nationals were attacked in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi Friday as they were heading back to their hotel, a spokesman of the Saudi embassy in Nairobi said. He said the attackers intended to rob and kidnap them. Two Saudis suffered injuries in lower pelvis and in lower abdomen, the spokesman said. The third Saudi escaped unhurt, he said. The injured are in a stable condition and efforts are on to rush them to the Kingdom for further treatment. The embassy has urged authorities in Kenya to take necessary measures to arrest the culprits, the spokesman said. He added that the embassy has advised Saudi nationals in Kenya to take extra precautions and remain in contact with the mission. — SPA
