Khaled Al-Sulaiman Okaz newspaper Everyday newspapers carry reports about health inspectors raiding restaurants and seizing rotten meat or other expired food items that are unfit for human consumption. Occasionally, such violations will result in fines or shuttering of the establishment. Much has been said on how to tackle the problem but let's approach the issue from a different angle. It is without a doubt that our society produces corrupt people and I think these corrupt people should be served rotten or expired foods. Currently, the only problem is that spoiled food items are consumed by honest people who unknowingly frequent restaurants that serve expired meals. To solve this problem, I believe we should make it mandatory for such restaurants to alert customers that their meat and meals are exclusively for the palates of corrupt people. If this was declared, nobody would complain. And as far as corrupt people are concerned, they won't be harmed by being served rotten meals as they are well suited to their dishonest and corrupt digestive systems! Practicing corruption is no longer a concealed act. We are living in times when corrupt people shamelessly engage in their activities and accumulate illicit wealth in broad daylight. It is time they are publicly exposed for harming the public. I really wish that there were exclusive restaurants for such people. Let them indulge freely in their corruption and eat their just “desserts"!
