Civil Defense teams managed to control a fire that broke out at a medical store in King Saud Medical Complex in Riyadh just before dawn on Thursday. “The Civil Defense received the report at 3:10 A.M. Eight rescue teams, five fire extinguishing teams, an intervention team for hazardous materials and ambulances rushed the scene,” Capt. Muhammad Al-Hubail, Civil Defense spokesman for Riyadh. He said the fire teams succeeded in containing the fire. There were no injuries or causalities, as the complex's safety teams and the shift manager had evacuated patients from wards near the store.
