Sanofi, a global and diversified healthcare leader, signed a special agreement with Ensan Charitable Association here to educate and treat diabetic orphans. The agreement includes the creation of awareness and education courses for widows and orphans that will teach them how to deal with and manage diabetes. “Sanofi's social and humanitarian activities are part of the social responsibility program that the company gives the utmost importance to. Through creating a specialized work team that follows the needs of the community and plans for charitable events by working with beneficiaries, Sanofi is providing opportunities to diabetic children at Ensan,” said Salah Mousa, general manager of Sanofi. “Ensan counts on donations, Zakat and investments from both individuals and businesses to develop its financial resources and achieve its humanitarian mission, and a good example of this is the agreement signed between Sanofi and our association,” said Saleh Al-Yousef, general manager of Ensan Charitable Association. The Ensan Charitable Association provides social and physical care and health education for orphans and those with special needs. In addition to rehabilitation, it teaches orphans how to make a living and be independent and productive members in their community.
