A new center for investor services will be established in the fourth quarter of 2013 in Yanbu, Dr. Ala Naseef, CEO, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu', announced Tuesday during the second industrial workshop in Yanbu, attended by representatives of industrial companies and the private sector. The center will have different government and private sectors working under the same umbrella to provide investors with services and required licenses. The workshop focused on industrial investors and their future plans for development and sought to remove all obstacles standing in the way of investors, he said. Dr. Naseef, who opened the workshop, also announced that Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Aal Saud, RCJY Chairman, has approved an award to be given to the factory with outstanding performance. "The award aims to encourage factories to excel." The first session of the workshop shed light on the role of research and finance institutions in developing the industrial sector. The role of the Industrial Development Fund in supporting and bolstering Yanbu's industries was emphasized by participants. The optimum use of energy, the title of the second session, focused on the benefits of such use in all Yanbu buildings. Moreover, the roles of some government agencies in financing industries, facilitating the exportation of products and rehabilitating human resources were stressed as well. __
