The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) is hosting the 2nd Saudi downstream industry Forum in Jubail Industrial City, scheduled for March 6-7, with the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Al-Riyadh Arabic newspaper reported. More than 60 business and industrial figures from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad will participate in the Forum in addition to a number of investors, business planners and decision-makers in the area of petrochemicals. The Forum plans to shed light on the experience of the RCJY, the importance of downstream industries on means to diversify income and boost the national economy. The Forum will touch on the future prospects of national and international downstream industries and available opportunities in this area. The Forum deals with a number of themes including the strategic plans worked out by the RCJY on the development of the downstream sector resting on the feasibility studies and available opportunities plus highlighting the role of the petrochemical sector.
