Indian Consul (Community Welfare) S.D. Moorthy was the chief guest while well-known Tamil orator, Prof. Abdul Kadar, was the special guest for the evening. Moorthy highlighted the ways Indian expatriates should conduct themselves in the Kingdom. He advised the gathering to regularly visit the consulate's website – www.cgijeddah.com – to get fresh updates. The diplomat will, in a couple of months, leave to Jaffna, Sri Lanka where he will assume his new office. Students from the community gave colorful and entertaining performances. Meeran Moosa, president of JTM, explained the growth of the Mandram from its inception three years ago.
