Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah Province, is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the new building of the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (MCCI) here on Saturday. Talal Mirza, Chairman of MCCI, said construction of the building on a plot of 10,000 square meters will cost SR113 million. He said the building's design is in accordance with the region's heritage and it will be a prominent landmarks in the holy city. “Sustainable development is a modern economic concept and we have made it a pillar in the construction of the chamber building. Recently, Prince Khaled launched MCCI's new logo and he will now lay the foundation stone for its headquarters,” said Mazin Tunisi, Deputy Chairman of the MCCI Board of Directors. Tunisi said the building will have seven halls for conferences, forums, international exhibitions, training sessions and other activities. __
