The stage is set for the final showdown between Ahli and Nasr in the final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup of Champions at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium here in Jeddah Friday. King Abdullah will grace the final match and will present the awards. Fans of the defending champion Ahli are expected to flood the stadium from early hours to support the team since the match is played at home ground. Ahli has already won the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Cup this season and is looking forward to add the most precious cup to the list of titles. Ahli won last year's title defeating Ittihad in the final 4-2 on penalty kicks. Earlier, Ahli failed to secure the league title and came second after Shabab after the top two teams drew 1-1 in the final match. Ahli qualified for the final after defeating Al-Faisaly 5-1 in the first leg match and 3-0 in the second leg. It prevailed over Hilal in the semifinals by beating the Riyadh side 1-0 in Riyadh and drawing 2-2 in Jeddah. Nasr fans on the other hand are optimistic of winning the title for the first time. The last time Nasr won a title was Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Cup in 2008. It had won the King's Cup in 1994. Nasr qualified for the final match after defeating Shabab 2-1 in the first leg and 2-1 in the second leg. It qualified to face Al-Fateh in the semifinals where it won 2-0 in Riyadh and lost 1-0 in Al-Ahsa. Fateh, meanwhile, finished third after beating Hilal 3-0 in Riyadh Thursday. Elton Jose Xavier scored two goals, while Hosain Al-Maqahoy added the third. __
