Organized by the High Committee of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the Eastern Province, The Seventh National GIS Symposium in Saudi Arabia gathered stakeholders of the geospatial domain varying between academics, researchers, students among other industry specialists onto one platform for interaction, sharing and discussion on various topics such as collaboration on technologies and experiences gained. The forum was held under the patronage of Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Dammam.
