A man accused in the 2004 terror attack on a residential compound in Al-Khobar has expressed his remorse and said Tuesday he has severed all ties with the militant cell. The man, who appeared before the District Court here, also renounced the criminal acts of other members of the militant cell against whom different terror-related charges were leveled during the day's proceedings. The court began looking into the charges filed against 86 suspects, all Saudis except for a Jordanian and a Somali. They were charged with embracing takfeeri thoughts, joining a terrorist cell, plotting to carry out terrorist operations inside the Kingdom to cause chaos and turmoil and disturbing the public peace. The suspects were allegedly involved in attacks against the complex in Al-Khobar and in blowing up the Traffic Dept. building. __
