Mohammed Sayeed Ejaz Grade 5B International Indian School, Al Jubail I remember the days when I was in India enjoying my summer vacation in the company of my beloved grandfather and grandmother. I used to sleep with my grandfather and always insisted him to narrate a story; and my grandfather daily did tell me interesting stories. One day he told me about my father's childhood. “Your father was very naughty in his childhood. One day when he came back from his school we found a chocolate box in his bag. We were surprised to see it and wondered from where or from whom he got that box. We asked him and he told us that his friend had given it to him as a New Year gift. We asked him his friend's name but he did not disclose this ‘friend's' name. We became more suspicious. The next day we went to his school to inquire if really his friend had given him a box of chocolate. We met his teacher and asked about the mystery behind the chocolate box but the teacher expressed her unawareness saying that she knew nothing about it. Then we went to his class room and asked his class mates that who had given him that chocolate box but no one said anything. We were disturbed and decided to leave the school. As soon as we reached the main gate of the school, a boy came running and told us that it was he who had given the chocolate box to our son to keep it in his custody. When we asked the reason he simply said that his father had brought the chocolates for him, but his younger sister never spared a single chocolate for him at home, so he had decided to give it to our son – for keeping it with him – for a short period of time. We were very happy to know that our son is naughty but honest.” After listening to this story I was proud of my father and decided to be like him; honest and truthful in life. __
