An acting chief in Al-Wahba Village near Hail was shot in the leg by an unidentified gunman early Monday morning. The shooter was arrested shortly afterwards by the police. The police in Samar village confirmed the shooting. The official was rushed to King Khalid Hospital in Hail. The wounded official said he had a heated argument with the shooter in the morning. The shooter then followed him in an old black Caprice to the Emirate's Center and shot at him. He received bullet injuries in the thigh. A Pakistani was also shot in the arm and had his car's windshield shattered during the shooting, and he too reported that the gunman was driving an old black Caprice. After a hectic chase the security patrols caught him. The police found a shotgun and ammunition in his possession. __
