Saudi actor Hassan Asiri has been selected by the US-based Global Peace Organization as their Ambassador of Goodwill, an Arabic daily reported. The actor was selected as part of the organization's plan to use actors to promote peace and freedom in their communities. Asiri, the secretary-general of the Saudi Producers Association, is the first Saudi and Arab actor to get this title. He is very active in philanthropic activities and has won several awards at Arab and global festivals because of his unique career as an actor. Asiri will be honored in July.
