Qahtani, chairman of the security guard committee at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), has said that the JCCI plans to create 12,000 job opportunities for female security guards over the next five years, in line with the government's decision to Saudize these jobs. The committee will meet with Adel Fakieh, Minister of Labor, at the end of this month to discuss ways to encourage male and female Saudi citizens to work as security guards, Al-Qahtani added. “We're determined to remove all obstacles security guards face in the private sector and we will ensure that proper regulations are in place to serve this purpose,” he said.
