C.J. Wilson beat the Yankees for the first time in his career, Albert Pujols and his teammates teed off and the Los Angeles Angels romped past New York 7-1 Saturday. Howie Kendrick, Chris Iannetta and Vernon Wells homered as the Angels ended their three-game skid and stopped New York's winning streak at four. Pujols got in the swing, too, after a quiet start with his new club. He singled sharply his first time up, then hit an RBI double that one-hopped the center-field wall. He later lined out twice and flied out to the fence in left. Red Sox 13, Rays 5: David Ortiz drove in five runs and hit one of Boston's five homers as the Red Sox pounded Tampa Bay for the second straight day. The game was tied 5-all until Mike Aviles homered off Blake Badenhop (0-1) to start a three-run seventh inning. Aviles moved into the leadoff spot in place of an injured Jacoby Ellsbury. Orioles 6, Blue Jays 4: Nolan Reimold hit a tie-breaking, two-run homer in the ninth inning and Baltimore beat the Blue Jays. Wilson Betemit tied it with a home run in the eighth and Chris Davis also went deep for the Orioles, who won their second straight game at Rogers Centre. Coming into the series, Baltimore was 5-29 in Toronto dating to 2008. White Sox 5, Tigers 1: Gavin Floyd overcame control problem to pitch six scoreless innings and Alexei Ramirez homered as the White Sox beat Detroit. Tigers left-hander Adam Wilk, making first big league start, was hit in his pitching shoulder by teammate Prince Fielder's foul ball while sitting in the dugout in the sixth inning. Indians 11, Royals 9, 10 innings: Shin-Soo Choo hit a two-run double with two outs in the 10th inning, and the Cleveland Indians beat the Kansas City Royals in a testy affair with three ejections and a pair of bench-clearings. The Royals rallied from a seven-run hole to force extra innings before Choo pounded a pitch from Greg Holland (0-1) to center field. Jarrod Dyson nearly caught it at the top of the wall, but the ball popped loose and Jason Kipnis and Michael Brantley scored the go-ahead runs. Other results: Texas Rangers 6, Minnesota Twins 2; Seattle Mariners 4, Oakland Athletics 0.
