Jamaican triple Olympic champion Usain Bolt opened his 2012 season with a sizzling anchor leg as his Racers Track Club logged a world leading time of 37.82 seconds in a 4x100 meters relay Saturday. Despite his impressive run, he was forced to share the spotlight with teammate Yohan Blake, who sounded a warning of things to come at the London Olympics by running the year's fastest 100 meters. The world champion, who teamed with Bolt on the relay, blitzed home in an impressive 9.90 seconds despite an ordinary start to his first 100m of the season. Bolt easily outpaced compatriot and former 100 metres world record holder Asafa Powell to win the relay by 10 meters in cool, wet conditions. Bolt's team of Mario Forsythe, Blake and Kimmari Roach had given him a three meters lead before he added to the distance against Powell of the rival MVP Track Club team, which crossed the line in 38.27. The Ethiopian great overtook Radcliffe after 15.3 kilometers (9.5 miles) and finished in an unofficial time of 1 hour, 52 seconds. In the regular marathon, Henry Sugut of Kenya set a course record by winning in 2 hours, 6 minutes, 58 seconds for his second victory in Vienna after also winning in 2010. Radcliffe, who timed 1:12:03, planned to use the exhibition event as preparation for the Olympics in London in August but saw her training interrupted by bronchitis over the past two weeks. Tirfi, who was third in 2010, dominated the women's race in 2:21:39 to surpass Ethiopian Astede Bayisa's mark of 2:22:02 from two years ago.
