The trial of 50 terror suspects charged with plotting to blow up Al-Mahaya Complex, Public Security headquarters and other residential complexes in the Eastern Province and Riyadh, started Saturday in the Riyadh District Court. The accused include 47 Saudi nationals, two Syrians and a Yemeni. The group has also been charged with indulging in takfir and joining hands with an Al-Qaeda-related terror cell and killing an American citizen and security officers. They were also accused of coordinating terrorist meetings, providing safe harbor to terrorists, financing terrorist operations, possessing weapons and smuggling large quantities of weapons into the Kingdom from Iraq. In Saturday's session, different charges were leveled against five of the accused. __
