(ARCC) was recently awarded the Best Environmental, Safety and Health Contractor of the Year Award, besting other services providers of the project presented by PSA 2000 Saudi Arabia Ltd., a subsidiary of Fives Solios of France - the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the Ma'aden Aluminum Company. ARCC was recognized among other key players in the industry like Mohammed Al Mojil Group, Nasser Al Hajri Corporation, Al Khodari Sons Company, Samsung Engineering, Contractors Consolidated Company (CCC) Petro Steel Company Ltd., and INVESCO to name a few. The award is in recognition of ARCC & PSA 2000/Fives Solios of Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company, the project management contractor of Saudi Arabia's first ever aluminum smelter at the Ma'aden minerals industry complex at the Ras Al Khair Minerals Industrial City. Present in the awarding ceremony were Rob Mcnaught, Andre Bachman and Terry Lyons of Saudi Arabian Bechtel with Alain Grotte and Kiran Kumar of PSA 2000 Saudi Arabia Ltd. while Rodolfo Rarang, Safety Manager and Eloy A. Lascano, Group Manager for Operation from ARCC, accepted the award in behalf of the company. In a post-celebration held in Ras Al Khair Office, Vice President & General Manager for Operations Mercado T. Magno, expressing his gratitude for the recognition, said "this award to ARCC is a proof of our continuing effort to realize our goal of completing the projects on time, safely and with quality workmanship.
