The Indian Cultural Society of Jeddah (ICSJ) has made a new appeal to parents of International Indian School, Jeddah (IISJ) students to donate old textbooks for “needy and deserving students.” ICSJ said last year they had distributed more than 11,000 donated textbooks before the start of the academic year and hopes this year's collection campaign will be equally successful. Donors may deposit textbooks in boxes kept at several locations in Azizia District: MTC Packers and Movers, Shadaab Restaurant, Hyderabad Sweet, Mubarak Store, Sameera Polyclinic, Azizia Stores, Naseem Polyclinic, Healthy Food, Al Shadi Store, and Paradise Restaurant. Books may also be deposited at Al-Ryan Polyclinic in the Sharafia District. The used books will be collected on a daily basis and ICSJ will arrange to distribute these to needy students before the new academic year starts. Parents of needy students may get in touch with the following: Dr. Dilshad Shamsi - 050-431-8610; Iqbal Shaikh - 050-637-7569; Arif Siddiqui - 050-236-6475; Yousuf Hussain - 059-605-9122; Arif Quraishi - 050-362-2124; Maqbool Parveiz - 056-248-4619; Mohd Saif Uddin - 056-248-4619; Asif M.
