The Undersecretary of the Makkah Governorate Abdul Aziz Al-Khudairy will inaugurate the 7th Career Day at the College of Business Administration (CBA) here on Monday. The two-day event will provide students with information about more than 300 job opportunities in local companies and establishments in Jeddah. The Dean of Business Administration (CBA) - female section, Dr.Nadia Baeshen said: “The Career Day includes workshops and seminars that enable graduates to learn about important issues related to the job market.” She added that the event was a “good opportunity to attract young men and women from within the college and beyond, who are looking forward to excellent careers in both the public and private sectors”. Dr. Baeshen said that the event, following the directives of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, aims to motivate the private sector and activate the role of companies and institutions in providing job opportunities for Saudi youth to help support the Saudization program and reduce the unemployment problem. She stressed that workshops would be held to enlighten Saudi youth on their rights and obligations at work. The workshops will also address methods of solving problems in and outside of the work environment, adding that Career Day is organized annually by the CBA to reflect the core mission and strategy of the college: “Education for Work”. – SG __
