The Minister of Haj, Dr. Bandar Bin Mohammad Hajjar, underscored Wednesday the importance of educating pilgrims on the ministry's Haj program before they arrive in the Kingdom. He made the comments while meeting with the Indian Haj Mission headed by Minister of State for External Affairs, E. Ahmed. At the outset of the meeting, the Haj Minister welcomed the Indian minister and briefed him on the efforts, services and projects offered by the Government of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince Naif at the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madina, as well as other holy sites. The projects and services are designed for the comfort and tranquility of the pilgrims and for them to perform the Haj rituals in ease, he said. Dr. Hajjar reiterated to the Indian Mission the importance of adherence to the program prepared by the Haj Ministry and the need to continue educating Indian pilgrims about the program prior to their arrival in the Kingdom. During the meeting, they discussed the arrangements and requirements for Indian pilgrims for the coming Haj season of 1433H and other related matters. For his part, the Indian minister highlighted the importance of the working program prepared by the Ministry of Haj for the pilgrims. He praised the role of the Saudi government for the fine achievements, efforts and services at the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madina and the other holy sites for the convenience of pilgrims to perform their rituals in ease and comfort.
