A total of 3,000 Saudis with master's and PhD degrees have set up a website to protest their alleged exclusion from jobs suited to their qualifications in the Kingdom. They claimed that foreigners are getting well-paid jobs, even though they, as citizens, have studied at some of the top local and international universities and have been accredited in the Kingdom. They said they have only been offered low-paid jobs. They are unemployed while thousands of foreigners are working in the Kingdom, they stated on their website. They asked what was going to happen to the thousands of Saudis who are yet to graduate from universities abroad. They said it was pointless for government to spend millions of riyals on foreign scholarships if there are no jobs for them at home. The youths said the Ministry of Education and university presidents are breaking the Kingdom's laws by giving priority to foreigners who have the same qualifications as citizens.
