KSA public healthcare spending set to surge
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 12 - 03 - 2012

Healthcare investment in Saudi Arabia is expected to sustain a sharp increase over the coming years as demand for medical facilities and a wide range of healthcare services continue to surge.
The Kingdom's sizeable population, which already exceeded 28 million in 2011 and continues to grow at an accelerated pace, has largely contributed to the unprecedented increase in public healthcare spending and the growing need for better-equipped hospitals and world-class healthcare infrastructure across the country.
CGM Tepe International, a leading provider of scalable health information technology products and solutions for healthcare companies on a workflow-based platform, is participating as Gold Sponsor at the Saudi e-Health Conference 2012 in Riyadh where it will showcase its cutting-edge IT-based solutions that help healthcare companies to increase productivity, improve performance and reduce ownership cost. The company was honoured by the event organizers during the opening ceremony.
CGM Tepe International demonstrates the key features of its cortex and its new product set CNG – corTTex Next Generation, with its web based Clinical Assistant POEM (Physician Order Entry and Result Management) and falls within IHIMS (Integrated Hospital Information Management System) division, at the three-day Saudi e-Health Conference 2012 at the Intercontinental Hotel that started Sunday. corTTex is designed to overcome difficulties in the healthcare environment; building living and evolving, sustainable and survivable solutions that enable healthcare organizations to attain continuous return on investment, while maintaining a low total cost of ownership.
Mehmet Bilginsoy, CEO, CGM Tepe International, said: “CGM Tepe International has built a solid track record in KSA as a leading provider of IT-based healthcare solutions that satisfy the distinct needs of the local market. We have provided cutting-edge solutions to a number of Saudi healthcare institutions such as the King Fahad Medical City and other specialist hospitals. With the development of more advanced and versatile healthcare systems such as the corTTex Platform, CGM Tepe International is complementing efforts to upgrade and expand existing healthcare facilities and infrastructure and ultimately help healthcare institutions generate optimum value for their investments. The upcoming Saudi e-Health Conference 2012 is certainly an excellent venue to meet potential clients and other stakeholders of KSA's healthcare industry to explore opportunities for cooperation and mutual business growth.” CGM Tepe International is primarily a healthcare IT company focusing on e-Health, medical informatics and healthcare services' connectivity with various products such as hospital information system, laboratory information system, radiology information system, cardiology information system, oncology information system, physician order entry and result management, HR solutions, electronic claim processing, etc.
CGM Tepe International is the only subsidiary of CompuGroup Medical, one of the leading international eHealth companies in Saudi Arabia.
