AJ Blue and Natco advanced after scoring comfortable wins over Jawar Al-Jazira and Zinda Tilismat respectively in the Premier Division Ace League, sponsored by Ace Travel and Tours and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association here recently. AJ Blue beat Jawar Al-Jazira by 56 runs. Batting first AJ Blue scored 213 in 18 overs. Kashif led the way with a superb knock of 76. He was well supported by Shah Rukh 44 and Azhar 25. Kamran (4-37) tightened the noose around the batsmen while Adnan (2-26) Tariq, Zahid and Asim with a wicket each gave him good support. In reply Jawar Al-Jazira was bundled out for 158 runs. Useful contributions came from Javed (33), Adnan (29) and Kamran (35). Kashif (4-20) and Arsalan (2-33) applied the brakes for AJ Blue. Natco handed Zinda Tilismat a 9-wicket thrashing. Zinda batting first was all out for 157. Irfan fought a lone battle for his patient 47 along with Noor (33), Zaman (16) and Sadat (14). Skipper Humayun took 3-20 and was given good support by Sadiq (2-29), while Hussain and Imran picked up a wicket each coupled with three run outs. In reply Natco raced to 164-1 with Hussain scoring an unbeaten 83, while Humayun remained unbeaten on 34. They put on an unbeaten partnership of 114 runs to enable Natco score a huge win.
