JEDDAH: Zinda Tilismat beat Natco by 110 runs to set up Natco division-I final against ACE Travels & Tours. Opener Javed Ahmed's quick-fire 145 runs off 57 deliveries was the highlight of the Zinda Tilismat innings. The tournament is sponsored by Natco International Freight & Cargo Services and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association. Zinda Tilismat won the toss and elected to bat. It piled up 237 runs for the loss of five wickets in its allotted 18 overs against Natco. Javed Ahmed hit a record 145 runs in 57 balls. He hit 15 sixes and six fours in his innings. The fireworks started from the word go. His opening partner Irfan was equally good as he made 38 off 16 deliveries. Nazeer followed in the footsteps of the openers with a classic innings of 29 runs off 15 balls. All-rounder Saeed Khan remained unbeaten on 14. Young opening bowler Sufian took 2-39, Natco skipper Humayun Farooq bagged 2-55, while off-spinner Hussain Abbassi claimed 1-40 for Natco. Natco in reply collapsed for a meager 128-7 in 18 overs and lost the match by 110 runs. Hussain Abbassi, who came in to bat at No.4 was the highest scorer with 45 runs. Wickets fell at regular intervals and did not allow Natco players to settle down. Humayun Farooq was unlucky to go for six only. Others among the runs for Natco were Samer 18, Humayun 15 and Athar Ali 13. Pace bowler Saeed Khan picked up 3-22, while Noman, Sarfaraz, Nazeer Ahmed and Ali bagged a wicket each for Zinda Tilismat.
