Esayi will inaugurate a solo exhibition by well-known Sudanese artist Omar Sobair Wednesday night at Jeddah Atelier. Titled Al-Qurashi, the exhibition will last for 12 days. Al-Qurashi is a symbolic place in Sudan with its multiple cultures, customs and traditions. “When I draw, the picture of the place where I grew up comes to my mind with all its ornaments and inscriptions,” says Sobair. The exhibition includes 35 latest paintings done by Omar Sobair. Abstract paintings dominate the majority of his work. Sobair graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Sudan with a Bachelor's degree. He was also a lecturer in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Industrial Design. He participated in a number of exhibitions showcasing his works in Khartoom, London and Jeddah. __
