The Life of the Heaven is Eternal (Part 2)
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 09 - 03 - 2012

The Qur'an negates alcoholic diseases in Heaven. However, the medical science has found the following diseases and problems which occur due to alcoholism.
1. Numbness and weakness in nervous system
2. Disturbance in consciousness and neurological problems
3. Impairment of memory, delusion and disorientation
4. Frightening. The alcoholic is confused, restless and misidentifies people and places and has severe tremor.
5. Cerebellar degeneration.
6. Heartburn anorexia, nausea, vomiting and others like pancreatitis, alcoholic liver disease and metabolic abnormalities, and so on.
Now, let's ponder on what the Qur'an has mentioned about honey. Allah said, “Then, eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of your Lord made easy (for you).” There comes forth from their bellies, a drink of varying color wherein is healing for men. Verily, in this is indeed a sign for people who think.” (Qur'an, 16:69)
There is a great difference between the soil of earth and the Heaven. If rain falls the earth produces creatures and bacteria. Similarly, the rivers and ponds are stagnant whereas the soil of the Heaven is white, its fields have camphor rocks with sand of musk. Camphor is well known for its medical value, antiseptic quality and repellant of creatures. “Verily, the Abrar (pious, who fear Allah and avoid evil), shall drink a cup (of wine) mixed with water from a spring in Paradise called Kafur.” (Qur'an, 76:5)
It may be said that human excretions produce bacteria but over there it will be sweat smelling musk. It may be noted that the change in human excretion will be due to heavenly diet.
Some diseases are caused by radiation and severe cold but in Heaven this is not the case. Allah said, “Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon.” (Qur'an, 76:13)
On Earth dust particles cause respiratory tract infections. The soil of Heaven has camphor rocks with sand of Musk. It has no dust like our earth. It is full of greenery. Abu Huraira narrated, The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Verily, in the Heaven the trees are such that if a rider traverses in its shades for hundred years, he won't be able to cross it. If you wish you recite, “And in shade long extended.” (Qur'an, 56:30)
The deepening shades with flowering beauty run hundreds of miles in the Heaven. Allah has eliminated any disease from malnutrition or over eating as He said, “Verily, you have (a promise from Us) that you will never be hungry therein nor naked.” (Qur'an, 20:118)
“And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabil (ginger, etc.).” (Qur'an, 76:17)
The endogenous diseases are those which are inherited. These diseases are restricted to this world because Heaven will not be a place of birth for any one __
