The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) expects a gradual rise in temperature in most parts of the Kingdom starting Thursday. The rise in temperature will be associated with active surface winds which will raise dust, resulting in poor visibility in the central region and southwest parts of the Kingdom including Al-Dawadmi, Wadi Al-Dawsir and Al-Moyia. Low and medium clouds will appear over the northern parts of the Kingdom, Asir and Al-Baha heights at noon, with the possibility of fog over coastal cities in the early morning due to the higher temperatures. The wind over the Red Sea is expected to be 15 to 40 kilometers an hour, with waves of between 1.5 and two meters. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Labor makes it mandatory for business owners to protect workers from bad weather conditions at work sites. This is according to Article 122 of the country's labor law, the ministry said in a press statement. If workers feel the weather is affecting their health, they can approach the labor office in their region to ask business owners to stop work.
