GCC Foreign Ministers are to hold the 122nd session of the Ministerial Council in Riyadh on Sunday. The session will be chaired by Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Chairman of the current Ministerial Council. GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdul Latif Bin Rashid Al-Zayani said: “This 122nd session has special importance because of critical regional and global developments and because of the importance of the issues relating to the progress made by the council in all fields.” During the session, the council will review a number of reports by the GCC General Secretariat on joint GCC work. These include the first report by a specialist committee studying the King's proposal to shift towards a single union. The ministers will also review regional, Arab and international developments which concern the GCC.
