A time of the year where spirituality is spread everywhere and mosques are full of worshipers and streets are crowded, and for many people going to public places or even going outside the house could be a mission impossible. Some of these groups avoid the problem of street walking through spending their Ramadan's nights witnessing Arabic TV drama and comedy series. The following are the five most promising series that grabbed the attention of audiences in the Kingdom. Selfie 3 This Saudi sketch comedy serial, aired on MBC network, succeeded for the third year in a row to get high watching rate, especially that it discussed several social issues in a comedian style. This year many people thanked Nasser Al-Qasabi after the first episode for highlighting an issue that afflicted most of them — the issue of high rents and difficulties of owning a house. Ghrabeb Sood (Black Crows) A drama series that present a massive number of actress and actors of different nationalities, including Assil Emran who mentioned during an interview with Al-Arabiya that she will watch the series maybe after Ramadan because the work and her play role made her depressed. The series is based on true stories and it is discussing the topic of extremism and Daesh. It showcases the story of several men and women and how and why they become part of this group and how terrorist organisations prey on people's psychological part. The goal of the series is to educate people and enhance awareness. Afareet Adly Allam (Ghosts of Adly Allam) Like every year, Adel Imam is acting in a comedy drama series. The story of the series is showcasing a journalist that focuses on his work on stirring controversy and changing the public opinions, until a ghost appears to him and his life alter and he face hilarious dramatic incidents. Romana This is a Kuwaiti comedy series for the actress Hayat Al-Fahad. The story of the series focuses on a poor mother who become rich suddenly and how her life changed in a night. Many audiences commented that the role of Hayat Al-Fahad does not fit her and they were shocked that she has accepted to act in this series. However, few others believe that it is a smart step since she was a comedian actress in her beginning of her career. Khalsana Beshyaka Ahmed Mekki returns again to the TV screen with a new comedy series. This time the story is explaining how three friends fall in love with the same girl and what they will do.
