Staff get training on dealing with public and mass media RIYADH – The Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution (BIP) has inspected 45 Hai'a centers in Riyadh to ensure there are no detainees held in the centers. Meanwhile, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Aal Al-Sheikh, Chief of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Hai'a), opened Saturday a five-day workshop to improve the field work of Hai'a staffers. Field work is one of the main activities the Hai'a carries out and the workshop seeks to equip Hai'a members with professional skills to deal with the general public, Dr. Aal Al-Sheikh said, according to reports in local newspapers. He expects a promising future for the Hai'a as an effective organization that is loved by the society. He said the programs and methods of application were designed and supervised by experienced centers. Also, Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz Chair for Studies on Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice organized Saturday a workshop in Madina on dealing with the mass media. Dr. Ghazi Al-Mutairi, Professor of the Chair, said that 30 Hai'a staff members are participating in the three-day workshop. They will learn the techniques of dealing with the mass media and acquire the required skills for that, he said. “The workshop is part of the program offered by the Prince Naif Chair to enhance knowledge and research in all fields related to Hai'a's mission,” he added.
