Jordan Caron and David Krejci scored for Boston. Hurricanes 3, Sharks 2: Jussi Jokinen scored on a deflection with 8:05 left to lift host Carolina past San Jose. Jeff Skinner and Justin Faulk scored 3:03 apart in the first period for the Hurricanes, who let a two-goal lead slip away before regrouping to beat the Sharks, the Pacific Division leaders.
