ALMARAI Company obtained the first user card via Naql portal for operators' service for individual and corporate road and marine transport sector that was launched recently. In a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Public Transport Authority "PTA", Sulaiman Abdullah Al-Hamdan, the Minister of Transport, PTA Board Director, gave the first card to Saud R. Al-Enazi, Almarai's Transport Manager. This step enables land transport investors and workers to electronically issue, renew, and cancel licenses, and operation cards of drivers and vehicles in 40 seconds instead of 5 working days. The service also allows approval of electronic renewal of vehicle registration for public transport. This portal will save time and effort for the investors by finalizing the procedures on one portal from anywhere at any time without uploading any document. Thus, the procedure will be 100% electronic. Almarai Company has a fleet of more than 8,000 refrigerated vehicles and trucks, making it the largest fleet in the Middle East.
