The Hemaya Society in Jeddah celebrated Gulf Child Day for the year 1433H. The event titled “Nonviolent Childhood and Safe Future” was organized by the society in cooperation with TNT Express and Almorjan Resort. Chairwoman of the Hemaya Society Samira Al-Ghamdi revealed that this was one of the programs of Hanoon Club which encourages interaction between children. It also seeks to support children in expressing themselves and developing their personalities. “The program provides opportunities for children to express their ideas and explain their expectations and initiatives, in order to develop more mature future generations. This program gathers the children of families which are part of the Society, children with special needs, orphans from social care houses and children from the Hanoon Club in order to create a happy environment for all youngsters and to provide them with entertainment.” Deputy Chairman of the Society, Fatimah Al-Aqeel said many children participated in the entertainment activities organized by the Jeddah Artistic Group and that they responded “very positively”. __
