Batsmen shine in RCL Al Khalifa T20 Cup

RIYADH — During the second week of RCL Al Khalifa T20 Cricket tournament batsmen dominated to help their teams win convincingly here at RCL Complex. Javid of Diamon II and Salman of Riyadh Finfa Warriors scored centuries. The tournament is sponsored by Al Khalifa Group of companies and organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL).
In the Super League:
Mughal CC outplayed Shuraim CC by 57 runs. Mughal CC scored 228 runs in 18 overs. Asghar top scored with 60 and Sajjad hit 48 runs. Fazal took 2 wickets. Shuraim CC's Waqas then scored 39, but were restricted to 171. The pick of the bowlers was Sajjad with 3 wickets. Man of the Match: Asghar Afridi.
Khalili Stars CC beat EverGreen Sixers CC by 8 wickets. EverGreen Sixers CC scored 148 runs in 18 overs. Adeel hit 40 runs and Shoaib took 3 wickets. Khalili Stars CC raced to win in 14.4 overs as Aziz hammered unbeaten 58. Fizan took 1 wicket. Man of the Match: Aziz Khalili.
In the Premier Blue League:
Hyderabad Boyz CC defeated Dherab Golf CC by 36 runs. Hyderabad Boyz CC scored 197 runs in 18 overs. Ismail smashed 41 and Adil cracked 46 runs respectively, as Osman took 1 wicket. In reply Dherab Golf CC were held to 161 with Malin scoring an unbeaten 50 as Selem took 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Ismail.
Gujranwala CC routed Royal Fighters CC by 50 runs. Gujranwala CC totaled 205 in 20 overs. Waqar made 46 runs and Fouzan took 2 wickets. Royal Fighters CC fought back with Madani hitting 32 runs. Taha grabbed 4 wickets as Royal Fighters CC finished with 155. Man of the Match: Taha.
Diamond II CC notched an 8 wickets victory over Deccan Knights Glory CC, who made 181 in 20 overs. Ahmed 46 and Sameer 36 contributed. Javid took 2 wickets. Diamond II CC were paced by Javid's outstanding 105 runs and won in 14.5 overs. Ahmed took 1 wicket. Man of the Match: Javid.
Finfa Warriors CC registered an 8 runs win over Cricketers CC. Finfa Warriors CC made 208 runs in 20 overs with Salam making 74 runs.Waqar took 3 wickets. Cricketers CC came close but were held to 200. Fayaz blasted 65 runs. Sami grabbed 4 wickets. Man of the Match: Sami.
In the Premier Green League:
Riyadh Gladiators CC beat Al Momin CC by 42 runs. Riyadh Gladiators CC scored 213 in 20 overs. Salman scored an unbeaten 104. Nasrallah took 1 wicket. Imran made 65 runs for Al Momin CC who were held to 171. Salman and Ali bragged 3 wickets each. Man of the Match: Salman Nisar.
Fakhre Afghan CC trounced Sanad Aster CC by 91 runs. Fakhre Afghan CC scored 235 in 18 overs. Altaf was the top scorer with 56. Jerin took 3 wickets. Sanad Aster CC showed spine int eh chase, but were bowled out for 144. Asad and Altaf bragged 3 wickets each. Man of the Match: Altaf.
Pak CC defeated Eleven Stars CC by 9 wickets. Eleven Stars CC scored 182 in 20 overs. Almeem made 43 runs and Mohsin and Waseem took 2 wickets apiece. Pak CC then completed the win in 18.4 overs as Waseem hammered unbeaten 97 and Shireen cracked an unbeaten 67. Man of the Match: Waseem Khan.
Pak Gladiators CC beat Punjab Lions CC by 42 runs. Pak Gladiators CC posted 195 runs in 20 overs as Ismail scored 48. Ashwant took 3 wickets. Punjab Lions CC then made 153 with Khaleem scoring 29 runs, as Noushad took 3 wickets. Man of the Match: Asad.
