Taking care of medical, food and rehabilitation needs of Yemenis

Riyadh — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has provided excellent health and medical services to Yemenis affected by the ongoing crisis in their country.
The Center has carried out a number of health and medical projects in Yemen, Jordan, Sudan and in the Kingdom in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Red Crescent Society's hospital in Amman and the Sudanese Red Crescent.
The Center sponsors the treatment of injured Yemenis.
It has set up medical clinics in Abkh province in Djibouti to provide necessary and emergency medical care to 2,554 Yemeni refugees in the camps there.

The Center has also implemented a number of health projects to treat injured Yemenis. It gives them full medical care including treatment, rehabilitation by signing contracts with a number of private hospitals in Taiz and Aden governorates.
The Center has also provided medicines, medical supplies, intravenous solutions and dialysis solutions in the governorates of Aden, Hadramaut, Marib, Sa'ada and Taiz to 22,500 Yemenis.
It has also supplied to the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population 371 wheelchairs.

The Center has supported Sudanese medical staff working in Yemen.
It has also provided and enhanced life-saving emergency medical services to Yemen's 7,500,000 most vulnerable women and children in collaboration with the World Health Organization.
The Center has provided insecticides and spraying machines to control desert locusts to prevent epidemics and maintain food security in the governorates of Hadramaut, Shabwa, Abyan, Dhala, Marib, Jawf and Mahra in coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and Yemeni High Relief Committee represented by the Yemeni Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation. It has also provided preventive and curative interventions for girls and boys under the age of five as well as for pregnant and lactating women.
Awareness programs have been conducted on mine risk. Psychosocial support services for children and the affected families have been provided.
The project benefited 2,700,000 people in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
The Center has supported water, sanitation and environmental sanitation services and provided drinking water and sanitation for the displaced in Yemen and for health facilities in the governorates of Aden, Taiz, Sanaa, Lahj and Ibb.
