PISR N Grade X students bid farewell in fine style

RIYADH — It was a phenomenal party hosted and organized by the students of Grade IX, under the aegis of Nazia Shahid, Afzana Nawaz and Lubna Abid, to bid farewell to the students of Grade X. This was to wish them a cascade of success, happiness, good health and fruitful life.
Sarwat Iqbal, VP(G), was the chief guest. The program started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an by Maryam Tayyab of Grade X-K and translation by Mahnoor Saleh of Grade X-J. Naat was recited by Qudsia Jamil (Chemistry Teacher). Saadia Khan of Grade X-C and Seerat Rafique of Grade X-J did the compering.
The welcome speech was delivered by Rabia Aslam of Grade IX-E. A variety of events like skits, tableaus and fancy dress show, presented by both Grades (IX, X), evinced the usual mixture of Pakistani culture, civilization and music. A special tribute was also paid to the legends of Pakistan: Ashfaq Ahmad and Bano Qudsia.
Reverend Wing Incharge Fizzah Shahid deeply appreciated the performance of students, and the remarkable dedication and efforts put by all the organizers. She advised the students to pull up their socks for the final board exams 2017.
The chief guest awarded the prizes and distributed certificates among the students and prefects of Grade IX and X for their high performance. In her address, she wished good luck to all the students and advised them to work hard and always respect their teachers and parents. A student, Sidra Hafiz of Grade X-J thanked all and said goodbye to their juniors for all this fun and frolic. At the end the national anthem was sung by the audience. All students and staff were regaled with refreshment.

The farewell party of Senior Boys Wing was presided over by Vice Principal Gohar Rafique. Professor Mohammad Anwar Awan was the chief guest whereas Principal Tahir Raza Abid and Prof Sadaat Ullah Khan, wing incharge SBW-II were the guests of honor. The function started with the recitation of verses of the Holy Qur'an by Hafiz Sharaf of class X. Master Maaz Rehmat presented the Hamd-e-Bari Taala.
Ahmad Bajwa of class IX welcomed the students of class X in the farewell party and praised their cooperation with the junior students. He prayed for the best results of the senior students in the forthcoming examination of the federal board. Waleed Khalid of X thanked the class IX students for arranging such a marvelous party in honor of Grade X students. He advised his juniors to work hard as time passes quickly.
Prof. Tahir Raza Abid, principal, in his address instructed the students to be industrious throughout their career and have positive thinking.
Vice Principal Gohar Rafique also advised the students to burn the midnight oil to get superior results in their exams. Azmat Ullah Bhutta was the stage secretary and Prof Anwar Ul Haq was the overall incharge of the event.
