RIYADH — Dr. Erum Qalbani and Dr. Mansour Memon hosted a welcome luncheon for Ali Hassan Bhutto, chairman of Sindh Skills Development Program and Executive member of Indus Cultural and Social Forum (ICSF). Dr. Mansour in his welcome note remarked, "Once again, welcome to our house, Come freely, Go safely and leave something of the happiness you bring." He thanked the ICSF for organizing this visit. He briefed about history, vision and mission of Sindh Skills Development Program (SSDP), a unique national service with a sole aim to invest in youth leading to development of human capital. SSDP has facilitated recruitment opportunities for hundreds of Pakistani youth in different specialties in just three years in US, Canada, Australia and Gulf countries. Dr. Mansour and Dr. Erum are the executive members of SSDP and are looking after Cardiac Rehabilitation Health Project for deserving patients in a well-organized Health Care Setup in Pakistan. Ghulam Qadir Mallah, CEO of SSDP, welcomed Bhutto and highlighted the great activities of the project and its achievements in just few years. Bhutto, meanwhile, highlight the conducting of health seminars, career counseling professional tutorials, job hunting and preparing proper resume, availing scholarships, immigration tips and many more subjects leading to career pathways for the youth. Abdul Shakoor Shaikh, community welfare attaché, lauded the mission of SSDP and praised the hosts for their social role and being a role model for the generation. Qazi Ishaq Memon singled out Shaikh Abdul Shakoor and Dr. Channa for praise while commending the community for its constant support. To keep up with the national cultural traditions, Ajraks were presented to the chief guest Ali Hassan Bhutto, Abdul Shakoor Shaikh, Prof. Amir Bux Channa and H.M. Fayyaz. Dr. Mansour, in his closing remarks, said "The marvelous thing about community unity is that it enables us to help people in a way we couldn't as individuals. When we pool our strength and share the work and responsibility, we can facilitate many people, even those in deep distress, and perhaps help them find self-confidence and inner healing. "As a way of life, an act of love, an expression of faith, our hospitality reflects and anticipates God's welcome, there is no hospitality like understanding."
